Decton Inc., a California staffing firm, announced it acquired Rainmaker Staffing Inc. with the acquisition closing on Feb. 8.

Rainmaker has offices in Santa Ana CA and Irvine CA, and provides office/clerical and light industrial staffing. It will keep the Rainmaker brand and operate as Rainmaker, a division of Decton Inc.

Rainmaker's co-cofounder, Chris Hill, will continue as VP and chief operating officer of the new Rainmaker division. Victoria Hill, also co-founder of Rainmaker, will pursue other interests.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
