CorTech acquires JEX Staffing

November 25, 2015

CorTech, a global staffing provider based in Atlanta, acquired Job Express of Wyoming, which operates as JEX Staffing.

The transaction closed this week; terms were not disclosed.

CorTech will retain JEX Staffing as a company brand. Owners Hans and Kim Peterson, as well as staff, will remain with JEX.

CorTech plans to leverage JEX’s staff and strategic locations to grow its current book of business and offer the CorTech suite of solutions to JEX clients. The acquisition also allows CorTech to match current local clients to the new JEX locations.

JEX Staffing operates seven office locations: Nampa Idaho; Louisville and Simpsonville, Ky.; Houston and San Antonio, Texas; and Beloit and Janesville, Wis.

“We are excited to add JEX to CorTech, increasing the number of our office locations to 17 in the United States and immediately increase sales by 10+% in 2016 and EBITDA by 18%,” said CorTech CEO Vincent Rossy. “CorTech estimates sales for 2016 of around $200-plus million with EBIDTA of roughly 5.3% of sales.”

CorTech in September acquired Southern California-based RecruitPro Inc. and plans to add up to $110 million in sales via acquisitions by the end of next year.

Cortech ranks seventh on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of fastest-growing staffing firms in the US, logging a compound annual growth rate of 55.9% and $145.0 million in 2014 US staffing revenue. It also ranks on the 2015 list of largest staffing firms in the US.
