Command Center Inc. (OTCBB: CCNI.OB) reported third-quarter net income of $444,342, down 36.1% from net income of $695,044 in the third quarter of 2006. However, the company said it switched from a franchisor of staffing offices to an owner-operator and its third-quarter results aren't comparable with last year.

Third-quarter revenue was $26.4 million, down 5.0% from $27.8 million in the third quarter of 2006.

Gross margin improved to 30.0% from 28.7%.
