Chartwell Staffing Solutions, a staffing provider based in Lancaster, Pa., sold its mergers and acquisitions unit, Chartwell Business Advisors, to BCP Ventures Inc.

BCP Ventures CEO Betty Pickett made the announcement; details of the transaction were not released.

Chartwell in mid-March assumed control of a majority of the teams and locations of Corporate Resource Services. Corporate Resource Services at one time ranked as the 22nd-largest US staffing firm before recently ceasing operations.

Chartwell Staffing’s focus must be on its staffing clients and associates, said owner Tracy Kidan.

Chartwell Business Advisors has provided mergers and acquisitions services to the staffing industry in the US for more than six years.
