CTPartners Q2 Revenue Rises 2%

Second-quarter net revenue at CTPartners Executive Search Inc. (AMEX: CTP) rose 2.0 percent to $33.8 million from $33.1 million in the year-ago period. However, North America net revenue at the New York-based executive search firm fell 3.0 percent to $21.4 million in the second quarter.

CTPartners’ European second-quarter net revenue fell 19.9 percent to $6.7 million. Asia Pacific net revenue fell 4.4 percent to $2.6 million, while the company’s Latin America operation brought in second-quarter net revenue of $3.1 million, following the acquisition of its independently-owned licensee in Latin America.

Second-quarter net income fell 15.6 percent to $551,393.

There were 350 new search assignments in the second quarter, up 22.0 percent from the year-ago period.

CTPartners forecast third-quarter revenue of between $30.0 million and $32.0 million, which would range from a year-over-year decrease of 1.0 percent to an increase of 5.6 percent.
