CSC Sells IT Staffing Unit in $74 Million Deal

Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) struck a deal to sell its Australian information technology staffing unit to Adcorp, a South Africa-based staffing firm. The all-cash transaction’s total is expected to be $73.5 million. CSC’s Australian IT staffing unit operates under the Paxus name. Paxus generated revenue of approximately $340 million in the company’s 2012 fiscal year ended Sept. 28.

All 96 Paxus employees will remain under the deal.

CSC is based in Falls Church, Va.
