Business grads most in demand, NACE finds

Business graduates are most in demand among employers recruiting bachelor’s degree graduates from the class of 2016, the National Association of Colleges and Employers reported. Graduates in individual business majors are also in high demand.  

Almost 70% of respondents to NACE's Job Outlook 2016 survey, who represent organizations with a focused effort to recruit new college graduates, reported that they will hire graduates from the business disciplines.

Graduates in individual business majors are also in high demand among respondents. Three of the top four majors in demand — accounting, finance and business administration/management — are business majors.

The Job Outlook 2016 survey was conducted from Aug. 5 through Sept. 13, 2015, and included 201 NACE employer members.
