AZ Tech Finders, a technology recruiting firm, acquired the contract human resources division of The Duffy Group, a 20-year-old Phoenix-based firm. “We only acquired their contract HR division and they will continue to focus on their core business model which was more of a retained/hourly search model,” said Sharon Bondurant, AZ Tech Finder’s CEO and founder.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition brings the company a new Tech Finders division, which will focus on human resources recruiting. Donna Dietrich, The Duffy Group’s lead HR recruiter, joined Tech Finders as managing partner of the HR division.

AZ Tech Finders has $1.6 million in revenue for 2012, said Bondurant. Headquartered in North Phoenix, Ariz., it counts 11 employees and opened a Brooklyn office at the beginning of the year.
