Administaff to pay $115,000 in EEOC suit

Administaff Inc. (NYSE: ASF), a Houston-based professional employer organization, agreed to pay $115,000 to settle a lawsuit alleging religious bias, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission reported today.

According to the EEOC, two brothers at a Maryland office of Conn-X LLC, a former Administaff client, were harassed based on their religion, Judaism, starting in September 2005 and continuing on over several years.

The EEOC said its lawsuit against the client company remain unresolved. Conn-X is a Florida-based cable service provider.

Administaff's relationship with Conn-X terminated on Aug. 16, 2008.
