Staffing Industry Analysts released its list of the largest staffing and talent engagement firms in Canada. The annual list includes 21 staffing firms with C$50 million or more in Canadian revenue in 2013.

Combined, these firms generated C$4.5 billion in Canadian staffing and talent engagement revenue, which comprised 45 percent of the total market.

“Despite continued sluggishness in the Canadian macroeconomic environment in 2013, the largest Canadian staffing firms appear to have generated a solid year of business last year,” said Senior Research Analyst Timothy Landhuis. “Bright spots of staffing demand were reported in niches such as the IT staffing skill segment, the oil and gas industry, and even increasing demand in the growing healthcare staffing sector.”

The five largest firms in Canada and their estimated 2013 Canadian staffing revenue:

1. Adecco: C$605 million, 6 percent market share
2. Randstad: C$590 million, 6 percent market share
3. Allegis Group: C$440 million, 4 percent market share
4. Procom: C$400 million, 4 percent market share
5. Design Group Staffing: C$317 million, 3 percent market share
