Medical Solutions, which ranks among the largest US healthcare staffing providers, acquired WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions, a provider of direct-hire international nurse and allied health recruitment based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions will continue to operate independently under its own brand.

“This is a strategic step in addressing the significant and growing shortage of clinical professionals in the US,” Medical Solutions CEO Craig Meier said. “WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions is a mission-driven organization that aligns with the purpose and values of Medical Solutions.”

WorldWide HealthStaff was founded in 1998.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
