Nordic acquires Amsterdam-based healthcare IT consulting firm

Nordic, a healthcare consulting and healthcare IT staffing provider based in Madison, Wisconsin, acquired Tasman Global, a healthcare IT consulting firm based in Amsterdam.

“The addition of Tasman's world-class health IT expertise enables us to expand our reach and provide solutions for the challenges healthcare organizations are experiencing in Europe and Asia,” Nordic CEO Jim Costanzo said.

Tasman was founded in 2015 by Adrienne Flatland, who will continue to lead the firm. It specializes in electronic healthcare records consulting services, including implementation support, optimization and application managed services, as well as strategic advisory consulting and project management.

Both Nordic’s Healthtech division and Tasman have experience working with universal healthcare environments in Canada, the UK and other parts of Europe.

Tasman is Nordic's third acquisition in recent years. In addition to its 2019 acquisition of Healthtech, a healthcare IT consulting firm in Canada, Nordic in 2018 acquired the revenue cycle transformation practice of The Claro Group, which provides revenue cycle solutions for healthcare customers.
