People on the move: Raines, ZipRecruiter, TalentBridge, Barton, Interim HealthCare and more

Raines International named Jessica Sun as managing director, strategic initiatives and client delivery experience. Sun joined the company in 2014 and previously was a managing director in the consumer and operational excellence practices. Sun is based in New York. 

Jobs website operator ZipRecruiter Inc. (NYSE: ZIP) in an April 8 regulatory filing reported Qasim Saifee resigned from his position as chief operating officer effective April 30. Saifee’s resignation is not a result of any disagreement with the company relating to its operations, policies or practices, according to the filing. Saifee was appointed as COO in September 2021; he had served as ZipRecruiter’s chief marketing officer since January 2020 and as VP of marketplace strategy from June 2018 to January 2020. 

TalentBridge Inc., the parent company of national staffing services provider TalentBridge, announced Celeste Gudas joined its board of directors. Gudas is the founder of marketing/creative staffing firm 24 Seven Inc.; she served as its CEO from 2000 through 2021 and continues to shape the company’s strategy in her current role as chair. 

Barton Healthcare Staffing, a provider of skilled travel nurses and allied health professionals on temporary assignments at medical facilities nationwide, added Anne Zukowski as executive VP to spearhead growth initiatives for travel allied health and nursing staffing. Zukowski also serves as senior VP of sales at BHS’ affiliate, Barton Associates, which she joined in 2010. 

Barton Associates, a provider of locum tenens staffing, promoted Vanessa Moriarty to senior director of staffing and sales at its offices in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Keene, New Hampshire. Moriarty joined Barton in 2011 as a fulfillment specialist and most recently was director of staffing and sales at the company's Worcester location. 

Interim HealthCare Inc., a Florida-based franchise provider of home care and healthcare staffing services, added Donna Merritt as VP of clinical quality. Merritt, a registered nurse, previously was regional director of operations at Bayada Home Health Care; prior to that, she held positions at Amedisys Home Health and Hospice.  

Impellam Group, a UK-based staffing firm with global operations, appointed Sydney Slosson as VP of MSP client solutions for the company’s Guidant Global brand and Michael Johnson as VP of integrated solutions for Impellam Group, both in North America. Both leaders bring over 20 years of workforce solution experience to the enterprise.  

Executive search firm Diversified Search Group appointed Jennifer Mason as a managing director in the firm’s education practice. Before founding her own consulting practice, Mason was a practice manager at Education Advisory Board; she has also held faculty positions at Skidmore College and Southern Methodist University and was an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the Humanities Consortium at UCLA.  

Nordic, a healthcare consulting and healthcare IT staffing provider based in Madison, Wisconsin, announced CEO Jim Costanzo will retire this summer. Don Hodgson, who has served as Nordic's US president for the last year, will take over as the next leader of the organization. Prior to joining Nordic, Hodgson spent two decades at EY, last serving as its national health transformation leader.  

Doherty Staffing Solutions and Dahl Consulting, which the former acquired in 2017, named Daniel Friker as their new chief revenue officer. Friker has extensive staffing experience in light industrial, IT, accounting/finance, on-site and solution selling sectors. He previously held positions including CEO at Quess US, VP and general manager at ManpowerGroup and director of strategic accounts at Experis. 

Loyal Source Government Services, a provider of healthcare solutions for government and commercial partners, hired Larry Lacefield and Michele Gordon as program directors of its Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Disability Examinations Program. Lacefield, a decorated Veteran with 23 years of service in the US Navy; his expertise spans across multiple sectors including medical devices, medical operations, SaaS and industrial service. Gordon, the founder of Gordon Strategic Consulting, joins Loyal Source following her tenure at Veterans Evaluation Services.  

Spherion Staffing and Recruiting, a staffing franchisor, announced Brandon Cook in early April assumed ownership of the Wichita Falls, Texas, office, formerly owned by Jeanie Boyd. Cook has 20 years of experience as a corporate human resources manager for a major manufacturing company.
