Leaders from global staffing companies were slated to call removal of unjustified barriers and restrictions to temporary employment around the world at the World Employment Conference, which wrapped up today in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The World Employment Conference was convened by the International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies (Ciett), an organization that includes 44 national federations of private employment agencies and seven of the largest global staffing firms. The conference brought together more than 400 participants from more than 50 countries.

Ciett reported more than 20 million people around the world per year find jobs through staffing firms.
