Uber’s losses increase to almost $1.5 billion in the third quarter (Bloomberg)

Bloomberg reported that human cloud, ride-sharing firm Uber lost $1.46 billion in the third quarter, up from a loss of $1.06 billion in the previous quarter. Uber told stockholders that gross bookings — a key yardstick of demand for ride services — rose 11% quarter over quarter to $9.71 billion and net revenue rose 21% to $2.01 billion.
