US Citizenship and Immigration Services extended its previously announced temporary suspension of premium processing for cap-subject H-1B petitions — used to bring in highly skilled temporary workers such as IT professionals, Newsweek reported. Premium processing shortens the processing time to 15 days from an average of six months for a $1,225 fee.
