Temporary staffing hours worked in the US stayed flat in the week ended Nov. 4 compared to the prior week, and they were down 8% year over year, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report.

The average week-on-week growth rate was 1.0% for professional hours, compared with a 0.3% decline for commercial hours, according to the report. This suggests more robust demand for professional staffing services than for commercial staffing.
