US colleges use H-1B visas to court foreign entrepreneurs (CNBC)

CNBC reports some US universities are creating "global entrepreneur in residence" programs that let some graduates work part-time on campus, often as mentors, while they develop their businesses. This allows the graduates to say they are providing a service to a US university, which can qualify them for an exemption from the H-1B visa cap.
