The United Auto Workers reached a tentative deal with General Motors today that could end a six-week strike, TechCrunch reported. Temporary workers have been an issue in the labor dispute, and the union struck tentative deals with Ford and Stellantis last week. TechCrunch reported that the deal reached with Ford means a 150% pay increase for temporary workers. Separately, the UAW reported that temporary workers at Stellantis will see a raise of more than 165% over the life of the agreement with that company.
