Travel Nurse Across America, a national travel nurse staffing company based in North Little Rock, Arkansas, promoted Tim McKenzie to president and CEO, effective May 1. Current President and CEO Gene Scott moved to the role of executive chairman.

McKenzie joined Travel Nurse Across America in 2017 as chief innovation officer and chief growth officer. He has more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in data-driven marketing services.

As executive chairman, Scott will continue to advise Travel Nurse Across America’s leadership as well as assist McKenzie’s transition to CEO.

“This move will allow me to use my gifts for strategic planning and innovative ideas that will push TNAA and the industry to a much greater role in delivering healthcare to our nation,” Scott said.

He joined the company in 2008.

Travel Nurse across America ranks No. 10 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2018 list of largest travel nurse staffing firms in the US. The company acquired Trinity Healthcare Staffing Group in January 2017.
