Total median compensation at $1.1 million in 2016 for top two execs at 22 publicly traded NA staffing firms

Total compensation was a median $1.1 million for the two highest-paid executives at a selection of 22 US-based staffing firms, and one Canadian-based firm, according to a new report released by Staffing Industry Analysts and prepared by Equilar, an executive compensation solutions firm based in Redwood City, Calif.

The report measured change in compensation between 2016 and 2015, and percent change was based on executives who were in place for two complete years or more.

In total, the report looked at total executive compensation for the two most highly compensated executives at  each of 44 publicly traded staffing firms.

The five executives with highest pay in terms of total compensation included:

Total compensation includes base salary, stock awards, option awards, nonequity incentive plan payouts, bonuses and other compensation.
