The Mom Project taps industry veteran as president

December 15, 2023

The Mom Project, a staffing provider with a special focus on mothers returning to the workforce, named longtime staffing industry executive Penny Queller at its president to lead the company through its next stage of growth. Founder and CEO Allison Robinson will transition to a new role as founder and chairwoman.

“Over these past eight years, The Mom Project has grown beyond my wildest dreams and has become a force for positive change for so many mothers in the workforce,” Robinson said in a press release. “I am immensely proud of what we have built so far and look forward to partnering with Penny and continuing to support the team in my new role as founder and chairwoman.”

Queller joins The Mom Project from Impellam Group plc, where she was the chief customer officer. Queller also is chairman for the Central Michigan University College of Business Administration. She has previously served as an executive VP at Randstad and as well as CEO advisor to The Mom Project.

“With gratitude for the past and commitment to the future, I am excited to lead our team into the next chapter of innovation and growth to further our mission — building economic opportunity for moms,” Queller said in a press release.

Robinson will continue to lead the long-term direction of the company.

Robinson was recognized on SIA’s 2021 Global Power 150 Women in Staffing and 2022 North America Staffing 100 lists.
