Texas had the largest increase in job opening in November 2023 among all states, according to data released today by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The Lone Star State saw job openings increase by 67,000 in November to a total of 809,000. It was followed by Illinois, which added 65,000 for a total of 391,000, and Colorado, which added 21,000 for a total of 232,000.

On the flip side, Florida posted the largest decrease in job openings, falling by 66,000 to a total of 524,000. It was followed by Georgia, which saw a decrease of 36,000 job openings to a total of 297,000, and Tennessee, which posted a decrease of 22,000 for a total of 193,000.

There was a total of nearly 8.8 million job openings in the US in November.
