TalentWave, a provider of independent contractor compliance and engagement, appointed Jim Hanrahan as executive VP and CFO; Hanrahan formerly served as CFO at Bartech Group. TalentWave also announced that Jennifer Spicher will serve as executive VP of sales; Spicher most recently held the role of VP of global solutions at Kelly OCG.

“Jim and Jennifer are accomplished industry veterans, and we are thrilled they are now part of TalentWave’s executive team,” said Teresa Creech, CEO of Foster City, Calif.-based TalentWave. “Long considered forward-thinking influencers in the talent space, both have a history of building strong partnerships in the industry.”

Hanrahan worked on the management team that completed the sale of Bartech to Impellam North America in 2015. He then served as president and COO of the two combined organizations and led their integration efforts. Prior to Bartech, Hanrahan held a variety of management positions at CDI Corp., a Philadelphia-based provider of engineering and IT staffing.

Spicher first joined Kelly OCG in 2009 before reaching the role of VP of global solutions. Prior to Kelly OCG, Spicher served as a VP at Bartech Group and also held positions as market director at Kforce Inc. (NASD: KFRC) and regional director for MSX International.

As VP of global solutions at Kelly OCG, responsible for company growth in each of the solutions that Kelly provides. Prior to Kelly, Spicher was VP for the Bartech Group; market director at professional staffing firm Kforce Inc. (NASD: KFRC); and regional director for MSX International, which operates managed service provider Geometric Results Inc.
