A law adding temporary worker regulations in New Jersey would be the most sweeping temp worker measure passed in the US if it becomes law, according to a report in Bloomberg Law. However, getting such a law passed is no slam dunk, even in a progressive state such as New Jersey. The US has relatively few laws regulating temporary staffing, and proponents of the industry say such laws are not needed.
