US temp staffing hours edged down 0.6% in the week ended March 16 compared to the previous week, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report. Commercial staffing hours also fell 0.6%, while professional staffing hours were down 0.9%.

The latest data suggests that market conditions for staffing businesses have deteriorated during the first quarter of 2024.
