Staffing firm faces nearly $2.46 million in citations

February 21, 2024

Wage violations resulted in a staffing firm facing nearly $2.46 million in citations, Massachusetts Attorney General Joy Campbell announced today.

Concierge Services Inc. and owner Gregory Doyle committed several violations between January 2018 and December 2021, according to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office. These included failure to pay minimum wage and overtime, failure to make timely payment of wages, improper deductions from wages, record-keeping violations and failure to comply with provisions of Massachusetts’ earned sick-time law.

“When a company repeatedly violates our wage and benefits laws, the workers and their families suffer, and sadly some of these violations took place during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic,” Campbell said in a press release.

SIA has reached out via phone to the company for comment.

Concierge Services is based in Plymouth, Massachusetts. It provides staffing to high-end, luxury properties in the Boston area. It staffs workers for front desks, assisting residents and screening visitors, according to the Attorney General’s office.
