November 15, 2017

A grand jury this week indicted a Kentucky woman on multiple counts of forgery and theft after she allegedly took more than $100,000 from a temporary staffing firm for which she worked as a bookkeeper. The Lexington Herald-Leader reports Sandra Selma Law wrote payroll checks to herself over a two-year period, according to the 59-count indictment. The total loss to BJM & Associates, a temporary staffing firm in Lexington, was $104,179, according to a complaint filed in Fayette District Court in September.
