Staffing firm becomes ‘social enterprise’ (Staffing Industry Review)

December 13, 2017

UK-based recruitment firm Cordant Group makes a paradigm shift and transforms itself into a social enterprise, Staffing Industry Review reports. “Companies that claim that label, in the form of Community Interest Companies, as they exist in the UK, agree to devote at least two-thirds of profits into making a difference, agree to pay reasonable salaries and do not exist solely for the shareholder,” according to the story. Cordant Group Chief Energiser Phillip Ullmann is interviewed on what a social enterprise is and what it can mean to the workforce ecosystem.
