Staffing M&A announcements from PeopleShare, Orangewood Partners, Caldwell and Jensen Partners

Staffing industry acquisitions were recently announced by PeopleShare, Orangewood Partners and Caldwell Partners International. Jensen Partners announced an investment.

PeopleShare’s acquisition of DecisionPathHR

PeopleShare, a Collegeville, Pennsylvania-based staffing provider, acquired DecisionPathHR, a staffing company with four locations in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. The deal expands PeopleShare’s footprint to 40 branch offices across eight states.

“DecisionPathHR’s culture is a great fit with ours, and their amazing people and clients will help us continue our US expansion,” said David Donald, co-founder of PeopleShare.

DecisionPathHR was founded in 2012.

“Over the last 10 years, DecisionPathHR has provided companies in the Charlotte area with top talent,” Donald said. “We plan to continue that under the PeopleShare name, and we look forward to growing our presence in the market.”

Barrington James acquisition

Private investment firm Orangewood Partners on Wednesday announced an investment in Barrington James, a global recruitment firm serving the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sector. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

Barrington James’ financial advisor was Fairmount Partners.

Plans call for Barrington James founder and CEO Dan Barrington to continue leading the business alongside the existing leadership team, who will maintain an investment in the company.

“We believe this partnership will enable us to continue to assist our top-class clients with their growth by providing exceptional talent to their teams, big or small,” Barrington said.

Barrington James was founded in 2002 and is headquartered outside London. It operates 12 offices, including in New York; Tokyo; Singapore; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Greenville, South Carolina.

Caldwell buys The Counsel Network Inc.

Caldwell Partners International Inc. (TSE: CWL), a Toronto-based executive search firm, acquired The Counsel Network Inc., an executive search firm specializing in the Canadian legal market. The deal was announced Monday.

The Counsel Network was founded in 1988 and led by Dal Bhathal, based in Toronto, and Sameera Sereda, based in Calgary. Both are former practicing attorneys.

Jensen Partners

Jensen Partners, a women-owned executive search and corporate advisory firm, announced a strategic investment from JB Capital, a Bellevue, Washington-based investor.

The investment was announced on Wednesday.

Jensen Partners has locations in New York, Miami, London and Hong Kong.
