Staffing 360 Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: STAF), a staffing provider with operations in the US and UK, promoted two financial executives after a top executive resigned from his role, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

The New York-based firm reported Khalid Anwar resigned from his positions as principal financial officer and principal accounting officer effective immediately, according to the filing.

Staffing 360 also announced the appointments of Joe Yelenic as principal financial officer and Nick Koutsivitis as principal accounting officer.

Yelenic, a CPA, joined Staffing 360 as the result of the company’s acquisition of Headway Workforce Solutions in May. Yelenic had been at Headway for 18 years and served in the senior financial roles of director of internal audit and CFO. In January 2019, he took on the role of president and chief operating officer at Headway. At Staffing 360, Yelenic served as senior VP, corporate finance, starting in May of this year.

Koutsivitis has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and leadership. He served at Staffing 360 from 2014 through 2017 as corporate controller before leaving to serve as CFO of a privately owned staffing firm. Koutsivitis returned to Staffing 360 in 2020 and served as senior VP, corporate controller.
