Staffing 360 president and CEO to step down, firm revamps organizational structure

January 02, 2018

Staffing 360 Solutions Inc. (NASD: STAF), a staffing provider operating in the US and UK, announced President and CEO Matt Briand will leave the company Jan. 31to pursue other business and personal interests. Executive Chairman Brendan Flood will become chairman and CEO of the company, effective immediately.

“Matt has been instrumental in the growth and success of STAF 360, specifically at Monroe Staffing,” Flood said.  “He has been a wonderful partner and colleague, and I wish him every success in his future endeavors.”

Staffing 360 also announced it is reorganizing into three distinct business segments to enhance customer focus, drive revenue growth, maximize efficiencies and support accountability and ownership. The segments include commercial staffing (US), professional staffing (UK) and professional staffing (US). Each of these businesses will be led by a dedicated president, reporting directly to Flood.

The company named Paul Polito as president of the commercial staffing segment effective immediately. Polito since 2012 was VP of operations for Staffing 360’s Monroe Staffing subsidiary. He joined Monroe in January 2001.

An executive search is currently underway for the professional staffing (UK) and professional staffing (US) segments; internal candidates are also being evaluated for the roles. In the interim, Flood will lead these segments.
