TechCrunch reports SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son today told investors he is interested in pursuing a deal with human cloud firm Uber; however, he also said SoftBank is considering buying into Uber’s US competitor Lyft instead. SoftBank is the largest investor in ride-sharing firms Didi Chuxing in China, Ola in India, Grab in Southeast Asia and 99 in Latin America, but doesn’t yet have representation in North America.
