Snagajob rebrands to Snag

April 09, 2018

Snagajob, a job board for hourly work, rebranded as Snag. The rebrand aims to reflect the company’s evolution since its launch in 2000 to include more than jobs, according to the company.

“Employers embracing the new era of flexible work are attracting and retaining the best people, especially in today’s tight labor market where there’s very little slack,” said CEO Peter Harrison. “People want work with flexible schedules to ensure they get the hours and income they need. Snag Work provides the hourly workforce just that, and gives employers a competitive and efficient way to fill shifts with proven and reliable workers.”

The company launched Snag Work — an on-demand work platform that connects hourly workers shifts in restaurants, hotels, and retail storefronts — last fall in Richmond, Va. It is launching in Washington, DC next month and expanding to more cities across the country this year.
