Sinecure.ai acquires executive search firm Grace Blue Partnership

January 04, 2024

Sinecure.ai, a provider of talent discovery and vetting software, acquired Grace Blue Partnership, an executive search firm with offices in New York, London and Singapore in a deal that closed Jan. 2. Through the acquisition, Sinecure.ai aims to create an offering that provides talent from junior and midlevel roles to the C-suite.

“Our acquisition of Grace Blue Partnership leverages the strengths of both companies and fortifies the ways organizations will find, engage and retain talent, with lasting effects,” Sinecure.ai co-founder and CEO Joel Wright said in a press release.

Grace Blue had been a customer of Sinecure.ai since the firm’s first product release in June 2022.

Grace Blue Chairman and founder Ian Priest stepped down from his role at the firm and stepped down from the Sinecure.ai board. However, Grace Blue Global CEO Jay Haines will take on the role of president at the combined company, overseeing its recruitment services business, and serve on its board.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

Separately, Sinecure.ai announced on Oct. 24, 2023, that Wenda Harris Millard was named as its board chairman. Millard is past chairman of the Interactive Advertising Bureau and former president of the Advertising Club of New York, and she served on the boards of the Ad Council and the American Advertising Federation.
