Work services platform Instacart (NASDAQ: CART) began trading Sept. 19 with its stock opening at $42 per share, 40% higher than the anticipated $30 per share, Yahoo Finance reports. That puts the company’s valuation at roughly $13.9 billion. The official name of the company is Maplebear Inc.
