Grafton, Wis.-based Seek Careers/Staffing Inc. acquired Landmark Staffing Resources Inc., attracted by the firm’s expertise in the office/clerical sector and its footprint in the Appleton, Wis., market.

The transaction closed Dec. 9; terms were not disclosed.

The Landmark Staffing Resources brand will be absorbed by Careers/Staffing’s Appleton office, and recruiter Hilary Rafuse will join SEEK as a talent specialist.

“Acquiring Landmark Staffing was a strategic move aligned with our desire to gain the expertise of their specialty in corporate and office support placements in the Fox Valley area,” said CEO and founder Carol Schneider.

Seek, a 45-year-old staffing company with 17 offices in Wisconsin and one in Minnesota, counts 110 internal employees. Targeted sectors include light industrial, skilled manufacturing and office/clerical. Seek Professionals, a sister company of Seek Careers, specializes in direct-hire and contract senior manufacturing, engineering, technical, IT, accounting, marketing and HR placements. Seek is also a member company of Anserteam, a national provider of managed services.
