Executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates is acquiring Amrop AS, one of Norway’s leading leadership consulting and executive search firms.

The transaction is currently being completed. Amrop’s consultants will join Russell Reynolds’ existing operation, taking the firm to more than 50 professionals in the Nordic region.

Amrop AS will rebrand as Russell Reynolds Associates. The Oslo office will be led by former Amrop Managing Partner Harald Kringlebotn.

Client demand for an expanded Nordic hub has grown as Scandinavian markets have taken leading positions in global industries, including energy, aquaculture and shipping, according to Russell Reynolds.
