Report finds 21% of millennials switched job in the last year

May 13, 2016

The millennial generation — those born between 1980 and 1996 — deserve their reputation as job hoppers, according to research reported by the Harvard Business Review. The research found 21% of millennial workers had left their job in the last year to do something else, a number that is more than three times higher than that of non-millennials who report doing the same. And six in 10 millennials also reported they are open to different job opportunities, which is again the highest percentage among all generations in the workplace.
