Recruit Holdings establishes USG People as head office for staffing operations; announces promotions

USG People will become the head office for Recruit Holdings Co. Ltd.’s global staffing operations, and USG will change its name to Recruit Global Staffing, the company announced today.

Recruit acquired Netherlands-based USG People in 2016.

The company announced Hitoshi Motohara, the current head of Recruit Global Staffing, will be succeeded by Rob Zandbergen, the current CEO of USG People, effective Jan. 1.

In addition, Leen Geirnaerdt, CFO of USG People, will serve on the executive board of Recruit Global Staffing. Also serving on the executive board will be Graeme Maude, who is presently managing director of business development global staffing business.

Recruit Global Staffing will remain headquartered in the Dutch city of Almere. Its global brands include: Advantage Resourcing, Chandler Macleod, Peoplebank, Recruit Staffing, Secretary Plus, Staffmark, Staff Service, Start People, The CSI Companies, Unique, USG People and USG Professionals.

Recruit Holdings also changed its organizational structure and announced Hisayuki Idekoba will oversee its new “business operations division” that includes the “global online HR” business unit that holds the Indeed job board, “media & solutions” business unit that holds the company’s publishing operations, and the “global staffing” business unit.

The business operations division will manage the strategy and monitor the performance of all three business units. In addition, Idekoba will continue to lead the global online HR unit that houses Indeed.

Idekoba’s title will be senior managing corporate executive officer and chief operating officer.

Deko has successfully grown Indeed into a world-class global job site, and Rob has built USG into a premier recruiting firm. Minegishi continued, “I also want to personally thank Hitoshi Motohara for successfully heading our staffing businesses for the past 14 years. Under his leadership, Recruit has become a staffing industry leader. We highly appreciate his long-term services to our group and thank him for his continuing supports during this transition.”
