Proman says 2023 revenue rises amid acquisitions, organic growth

February 26, 2024

Proman, a global staffing firm based in Manosque, France, reported revenue rose 9.85% in 2023 to nearly €4.11 billion (US$4.53 billion). The company, which ranks as 14th-largest in the world, reported organic growth across its markets drove the increase as well as several acquisitions in the past year, including in the US.

The firm noted it acquired Peopleshare, a Pennsylvania-based provider of clerical and light industrial staffing, in 2023. The deal gave Proman 105 office in the US across 18 states. The Peopleshare deal followed several acquisitions in previous years. Proman acquired National Skilled Trades Masters in 2022 and TalentForce in 2019, and it entered the US market in 2018 when it acquired Paramount Staffing, a Northbrook, Illinois-based staffing firm.

Proman also made acquisitions outside the US in 2023. It acquired a stake in Aksis Moovéus, a French provider of career transition services, and it acquired iziwork, a digital staffing firm operating in France and Italy with more than 7,000 temporary workers.

“Beyond the figures, Proman’s ambition has been the same since day one: to grow while retaining our family DNA, to offer the best service to the companies that place their trust in us, and to find a job for those who don't have one,” President Roland Gomez said in a press release.

Proman aims for revenue of €6 billion by 2025.

Currently, the company has more than 1,000 branches in 17 countries and employs more than 100,000 temporary workers each day including in the manufacturing, construction and logistics sectors.
