Healthcare private equity firm Havencrest Capital Management acquired healthcare staffing firm Focus Staff Services. Havencrest also added two staffing industry veterans to Focus’ board — Steven Francis, founder and former CEO and chairman of AMN Healthcare Services; and Kay Cowling, former CEO of Fastaff.

Focus Staff ranks No. 68 on SIA’s list of largest healthcare staffing firms in the US.

“We have been extremely impressed with Focus’s growth to date and are excited about our partnership with the company,” Matt Shofner, partner at Havencrest, said in a press release. The Covid-19 pandemic brought to light many underlying, but persistent, healthcare workforce issues, and we are committed to furthering the company’s growth in order to help alleviate those issues.”

Focus Staff provides nurse and allied healthcare staffing in all 50 states. The company is based in Dallas and was founded in 2009.
