“I’d say it’s still an employee’s market, but it’s starting to turn,” LaSalle Network founder and CEO Tom Gimbel said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” discussing the state of hiring and recruiting. “You can feel that employers want to hire good people, they want to bring people on, but this isn’t dot-com bubble of ‘hiring anybody for anything.’ This is still in that post-great recession mentality — not economy, but mentality — of saying, ‘We’re going to hire very prudently, but were bringing people on,’ and they are doing it in all sectors and all areas.”
