People on the move: Recruiter.com, Adecco, Tandym, Lexitas, Questpro, H.I.G., more

Recruiter.com Group Inc. (NASDAQ: RCRT) appointed Granger Whitelaw as its new CEO and president, according to a regulatory filing. He succeeds Miles Jennings in the role, who resigned from the roles on March 7 but will remain with the company as a director and interim CFO as well as CEO of a subsidiary of the company focused specifically on facilitating the planned strategic spinout of certain assets of the current company. Whitelaw has more than three decades of leadership experience, most recently as CEO of GoLogiq Inc. since July 2023. He is the founder and CEO of the Raybar Group, a global management consulting agency that includes subsidiary companies such as The Vietnam Group, Transpacific Media, Pharmacy Advisors Limited and ParaStem Health as well as the Lotus Talks podcast. The company also announced Whitelaw and Lillian Mbeki are joining its board as directors, replacing Timothy O’Rourke and Robert Heath. The new slate of directors will be presented for shareholder affirmation at its annual meeting on March 22.

The Adecco Group nominated EssilorLuxottica CFO Stefano Grassi for election to its board of directors at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting on April 11. David Prince, who has served on the board since 2004, has decided not to stand for re-election. Ariane Gorin, a board member for the past seven years, also decided not to stand for re-election, given her need to focus on her recent appointment as CEO of Expedia Group. All other members of the board and the chair will be proposed for individual re-election. Grassi was appointed CFO of EssilorLuxottica in 2021 after serving as CFO of Luxottica Group since 2014; prior to joining Luxottica in 2007, he spent nine years at General Electric in a range of finance roles.

Tandym Group, a New York-based IT and locum tenens staffing provider, announced Christopher Kaldrovics joined its executive leadership team as group executive for strategy and consulting services. Kaldrovics joins Tandym after a 30-year career in Wall Street banks and consulting firms. Most recently, he was a partner in financial services at EY; prior to EY, he was a partner and VP in global business services at IBM.

Lexitas, a Houston-based provider of litigation support services including legal staffing, appointed Nishat Mehta as chief operating officer and president. Mehta most recently was president of global products and solutions for Circana, a company formed from the merger of IRI and The NPD Group. Before joining IRI, he led the customer communications team at 84.51°, a retail data science company responsible for grocery retailer The Kroger Co. and its CPG brand partners.

Insurance recruitment firm Questpro added Abby Baker and Sandy Zupancic as business development directors to lead its newly launched practice dedicated to healthcare staffing for managed care organizations, health systems, third party administrators, medical practices, healthcare law firms and insurtechs. Baker has more than 12 years of experience in medical and legal recruiting, operations and business development with a concentration on temp staffing. Zupancic has 20-plus years of experience in the staffing industry, working with companies including Blue Shield of California, Aetna, Amazon and M&M Mars.

H.I.G. Growth Partners, the growth capital investment affiliate of Miami-based private equity firm H.I.G. Capital, announced its portfolio company Worksuite appointed Ray Grady as CEO. The appointment follows recent senior leadership additions including Dave Colford as chief operating officer/chief revenue officer and Ryan Doyle as VP of finance and operations. Grady has held executive leadership positions at companies including Salesforce, Acquia, CloudCraze and most recently Conexiom. Colford previously was chief revenue officer at Dodge Construction Network and president and chief revenue officer at Hanley Wood/Metrostudy. Doyle’s experience includes financial management and operations for organizations including EY and Highwire. H.I.G. in 2023 invested in Worksuite, a freelancer management SaaS platform that enables organizations to build and manage their own contractor networks.

Akraya Inc., a Silicon Valley-based IT staffing and consulting firm, appointed Kelly Rader as its new practice director, emphasizing human-centered digital strategies for sustainable growth. Her most recent roles include fractional chief digital product officer at Payment Foundry and founder/CEO at Love Digital.

Paro, an AI-powered staffing platform for finance and accounting talent, appointed Kristen Mello as general manager of its Paro for CPA Firms business unit. Mello previously was director of sales, expansion at Radix, a provider of market survey and business intelligence software and data to the multifamily real estate industry. Prior to that, Mello was regional VP, partnerships Texas, at real estate brokerage platform Side, and she held various roles during a long tenure at Robert Half.

Technology industry executive search firm Daversa Partners named Nicole Daversa as the firm’s first chief marketing officer. She has served as VP of marketing and communications since 2021 after leading a three-year global rebrand.
