People on the move: Insight Global, Lingo, Red Oak, Nelson Connects, MeeDerby, more

Insight Global appointed Krista Rouse as VP of product management. Rouse has more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale product and strategy organizations. She began her career at AOL, where she played a role in managing technical projects and driving product development. In 2011, Rouse joined The Weather Channel, where she held leadership positions including head of product, privacy and strategic partnerships. Rouse will report to Chief Digital and Information Officer DeWayne Griffin.

Lingo Staffing, a staffing provider based in Richmond, Virginia, named Derek Pittak as CEO. Pittak has been connected to Lingo Staffing for more than three years and has advised on business, strategy and operations. He launched his own business-coaching practice five years ago. Lingo Staffing’s former CEO, founder Brad Gillespie, will assume the role of president.

Red Oak Technologies, a provider of IT staffing based in San Jose, California, named Joel Leege as president and chief operating officer. Leege has been in the staffing industry since 1997. Red Oak founder Brad Gordon will remain as CEO. Leege also serves as VP/president-elect at TechServe Alliance.

Nelson Connects named Stephanie Ellis as VP, strategic partnerships. Ellis has 25 years of experience in the staffing and workforce solutions sectors. Nelson Connects is headquartered in California and provides staffing services.

Greg Gary was appointed VP of workforce solutions and partnerships at nextSource. Gary has more than 30 years of experience in sales and business development. NextSource’s business includes managed service provider services, direct sourcing, employer-of-record services, independent contractor compliance and more.

Executive search provider Sheffield Haworth appointed Alex Cormack as CEO and named Patrick Meehan as chief financial and operating officer. Meehan previously served as group finance director; he will report to Cormack. Sheffield Haworth also announced that Emily Von Kohorn will be a member of the executive management committee and will continue as co-head of the global real assets practice. In addition, Julian Bell takes on the role of global head of the banking and markets practices in addition to his current position as head of the US region. In addition, the company named Jennifer Novack and Helen Tudor to its senior advisory board. Novack is co-head of the global real assets practice, and Tudor is managing director and global head of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Boyden, an executive search provider, named Gary Pikul as chief transformation and risk management officer. Pikul has nearly 30 years of experience as a business leader and executive at global organizations. Previously, he was senior director, IT mergers and acquisitions at Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp.

MeeDerby, a staffing firm specializing in placing professionals in staffing, professional services and workforce management industries, promoted Kim Whiteley to president. Whiteley has 17 years of experience with MeeDerby and more than 30 years of experience in the staffing industry. Robin Mee was elevated to CEO and will continue to lead the company from an executive position. In addition, Eliza Deang, with 23 years of experience with MeeDerby, was promoted to chief of staff. Sue Jagan, who has almost seven years of experience with MeeDerby and 18 years in the staffing industry, was promoted to associate director and executive recruiter. Kamille Chilcutt was promoted to executive recruiter in her second year with MeeDerby and Lauren Fenech was hired as a recruiter for MeeDerby’s new division focused on individual contributors. 

Eightfold AI appointed Chano Fernandez as board member/co-CEO. Fernandez has more than 20 years of experience in global leadership and entrepreneurship. The company also named Michael Bush as a board member.
