IT services giant Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. (NASDAQ: CTSH) appointed Jatin Dalal as CFO effective in December. Dalal comes to Cognizant from fellow IT services giant Wipro Ltd., where he had also served as CFO since April 2015 and later took on additional responsibility as president starting in December 2019. Dalal takes over from Jan Siegmund, who previously announced that he will retire. Siegmund will also remain with the company as a nonexecutive officer and special advisor in order to support an orderly transition. Dalal will report to CEO Ravi Kumar S.  Dalal also served as a member of the New York Stock Exchange’s Listed Company Advisory Board from June 2015 to November 2022. In addition, he is the co-chair of the CFO Committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry.

PeopleReady, a TrueBlue company, promoted Tom Hodgins to senior VP of PeopleReady Field Operations, taking on part of Kristy Willis’ prior role following her promotion to president. In addition, PeopleReady promoted Kim Hans to senior VP of PeopleReady Service Excellence, a newly created position. Hodgins has been part of TrueBlue in various senior leadership roles for more than 14 years, most recently serving as VP of operations for Centerline Drivers. Hans has been with PeopleReady since 2021, most recently as VP of services.

Mike Regan, MD, was appointed president of staffing services at Need Physicians-Locums. Regan is an emergency medicine physician and business entrepreneur.

Executive search firm Eastward Partners named Adam Szepkouski as chief operating officer. Szepkouski has more than 15 years of experience in human capital consulting.

Veronica Villarreal is the owner of Nextaff’s new commercial staffing office in Laredo, Texas.

Executive search firm Diversified Search Group announced Lauren Smith will be co-head of the firm’s board and governance practice. Smith will share leadership of the practice with Veronica Biggins.
