Yoh has named Lynda Sheppard as senior VP overseeing RPO, MSP, customer solutions and sales for its DZConneX brand and Sheppard, along with Lynn Bierling, Yoh’s VP, strategic accounts, have joined the Yoh executive leadership team. Within DZConneX, Chadd Dehn was promoted to VP of RPO and it was announced that Mara Klug will join DZConneX on Feb. 15 as VP of sales. Klug comes to the company after 27 years at Adecco. In addition, Kathleen King has been appointed to the leadership council of DZConneX’s parent company, Day & Zimmermann.

Chris Meaux, founder and former CEO of on-demand food-delivery company Waitr, is now the co-CEO and chairman of BoomNation, a social media platform and job board focused on blue-collar workers. BoomNation is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Gojob, an online staffing platform, named Angie College Hooper as chief operating officer in the US to drive Gojob’s expansion in North America. Hooper formerly was head of growth operations, associate care and shared services at The Adecco Group. Her roles there included senior VP of operations and VP NA operations and candidate experience. Gojob’s US headquarters is in New York and it has operations in London and Paris. It’s based in Aix-en-Provence, France.

ICON Medical Network, a national locum tenens provider, appointed Alan McIver as its chief operating officer and as a member of its executive team. McIver most recently was the group president at CHG Healthcare, the second-largest healthcare staffing firm in the US, where he was responsible for five divisions and $175 million in revenue.

MeeDerby, an executive search firm focused on the staffing industry, announced the promotions of Kim Whiteley to VP and Eliza Deang to operations director. Whiteley has been with MeeDerby for 15 years and manages the majority of the firm’s executive recruiting team. Deang has been with MeeDerby for 22 years and leads operations.

IT staffing provider Advantis Global appointed Bill Ravenscroft as president of all Advantis Global brands. Ravenscroft took on the role effective Feb. 1. He succeeds Dan Pollock, who will remain as Advantis Global’s CEO. Ravenscroft previously led two divisions — Advantis Global Solutions and Advantis Government Solutions. Prior to Advantis, Ravenscroft held roles at Randstad and Adecco.

The Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants this week announced 2022 officers and the appointments of three new directors to its global board.

  • Global chair: Emanuela Aureli, Spencer Stuart - London-based partner in the technology, media and telecommunications practice and the data and analytics.
  • Vice chair: Julian Ha, Heidrick & Struggles - Washington, DC-based partner and leader of the government affairs and trade association practices.
  • Secretary and treasurer: Martin Schubert, Eric Salmon & Partners – Frankfurt, Germany-based partner in the industrial and professional services practices.
  • Chair emeritus: Morten Nielsen, WittKieffer - Cleveland-based senior partner and global managing partner for the life sciences practice.
  • New AESC directors: Grace Cheng, country manager - Greater China at Russell Reynolds Associates, based in Beijing; Tim Sheffield, chair at Sheffield Haworth, based in London; and David Turner, president at Kincannon & Reed, based in Phoenix.

Executive search firm Allegis Partners, part of Allegis Group, added two managing directors to its human resources practice. Matthew Healey rejoins Allegis Partners in its New York office after four years at a real estate company. Jaemi Taylor, based in Seattle, most recently was a managing director with global HR search firm ChapmanCG; she previously led a Pacific Northwest practice at Robert Half Executive Search.

Nextaff announced that its new healthcare staffing agency location in Sarasota, Florida, is co-owned and operated by John Snellings and Chris Germond. The office serves Sarasota and the surrounding counties and focuses on caregiver and nurse staffing for long-term care and other healthcare facilities. 

AtWork, a national staffing franchise, announced Firas Korkis is the owner and operator of its new office in Chula Vista, California.

PrideStaff announced that Matt and Amanda Becker, owners and strategic partners of the St. Pete Clearwater office in Florida, are expanding their service area by opening a second staffing and employment agency in West Tampa, Florida.
