People: TrueBlue, Hudson, TalentBridge, Heidrick, Upshift and more

TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI) named Jeff Dirks as chief information and technology officer. Dirks is replacing Carole McCluskey, who is retiring. Dirks joined TrueBlue in 2018 as senior VP of corporate technology. The Tacoma, Washington-based industrial staffing firm also appointed Carl Schweihs as president of People Management, a division of TrueBlue. Schweihs replaces Jonathan Means. Schweihs previously served as TrueBlue’s senior VP of strategic accounts; he joined the company following its acquisition of SeatonCorp in 2014.

RPO provider Hudson Global Inc. (NASDAQ: HSON) announced that CFO Patrick Lyons will leave the company effective June 30, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. In connection with the departure, Hudson is appointing Mathew Diamond as principal financial officer effective June 30. Diamond has served as the VP of finance at Hudson since January; his previous roles outside the firm include finance and control positions at PepsiCo.

TalentBridge named Michael Collins as CFO. Collins most recently served as VP of finance at Conbraco Industries Inc. TalentBridge is a staffing firm based in Rochester, New York.

Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASDAQ: HSII) announced Adam Warby was appointed chairman of the board. Warby is CEO of Avanade. Warby joined the board in 2018.

On-demand staffing platform Upshift announced VP of Sales Daniel Huhn will lead its new Dallas/Fort Worth market. Huhn previously spearheaded the firm’s entrance into Northeast Ohio. In addition, Upshift’s new Pittsburgh operation will be helmed by western Pennsylvania VP of Sales Michael Racciato.

Executive search firm Pearson Partners International promoted Renee Baker Arrington to the role of president and the newly created role of chief operating officer. Arrington most recently served as senior VP at the Dallas-based firm. Founding partner Keith Pearson will retain his role as CEO.

PrideStaff announced that Miriam Naya is the owner/strategic partner of its new office in Torrance, California. The office will offer staffing in a variety of professional, administrative and light industrial disciplines.

Alvin Montances is the owner and operator of Nextaff’s new branch in Beaverton, Oregon. Montances is a US military veteran with years of experience in IT.

Staffing software supplier Bullhorn hired Javid Muhammedali as its new VP, product – artificial intelligence. Muhammedali has served as senior VP of integrated solutions and partnerships at Care.com and as knowledge expert in enterprise software at McKinsey and Co. He also served as VP of product management at Monster.

Hireology appointed Kevin Knapp as its CFO. Knapp had previously served as CFO at CareerBuilder LLC for 14 years; he also served as chief operating officer for the final two. Hireology makes customer relationship management software for recruitment.
