People: TriNet, ZRG, OfficeTeam, PrideStaff, Lucas and Nexxt

Professional employer organization TriNet Group Inc. (NYSE: TNET) announced Michael Mendenhall joined its executive team as senior VP and chief marketing officer/chief communications officer. He most recently was IBM’s CMO and CCO for IBM Watson and Cloud Platform, leading all marketing and communications strategies for both business areas. Prior to IBM, he held the same title at supply chain solutions company Flex. Mendenhall reports directly to TriNet President and CEO Burton Goldfield.

Executive search firm ZRG Partners Inc. added Charles King as managing director and global board practice leader. He has more than 20 years of executive search and corporate governance experience, including more than a decade with Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) as managing director of the board services practice. King served as an officer in the United States Coast Guard where he held a variety of command and staff assignments, including duty as military aide to Vice President George H. W. Bush.

OfficeTeam, a division of Robert Half International Inc. (NYSE: RHI), announced Regional Manager Michael O’Leary will lead its new Canada locations in Montreal and the West Island. O’Leary has been with the company for more than 20 years.

PrideStaff, a national staffing franchise, announced Thomas Clemons and Tanya Clemons, a brother and sister team, opened a Lake Charles, La., office on March 26. The office provides staffing and employment services in a variety of professional and light industrial disciplines.

Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, promoted Victoria Westerfield to practice manager for accounting and finance contract practice in Dallas. She has more than 20 years of accounting and finance recruitment experience and will oversee all Dallas accounting and finance contract placements.

Nexxt, an operator of a network of job boards, announced Andrew Katz joined the company as chief operating officer. He will oversee all business operations, including business development, recruitment advertising and strategic alliance efforts. Katz most recently was president of Internet job site Startwire; before that, he was senior VP of global business development and channel partners at Symphony Talent (formerly Findly). Beyond.com in July rebranded to the moniker Nexxt.
