People: System One, TrueBlue, BelFlex, Floyd Lee Locums, Davis Companies, PrideStaff

Pittsburgh-based staffing provider System One announced Wendy Tordilio, director of commercial and engineering, has been elected co-president of the New Jersey Staffing Alliance for 2019. She has been an active member of the NJSA since 2011.

TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI), in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, reported Joe Sambataro Jr. on Dec. 12 notified the company of his intention to retire from the company’s board effective Dec. 31.

BelFlex Staffing Network, a light industrial staffing firm, hired Matthew Burnheimer as talent acquisition manager. BelFlex also promoted Jimmy Elliott to corporate trainer, responsible for developing an employee training program for recruiters, branch managers and on-site managers.

Floyd Lee Locums, a physician staffing firm based in Charleston, SC, added Chad Hales as a healthcare consultant manager; he will connect locums professionals to underserved or rural communities. Hales previously was the director of the subspecialty and surgical subspecialty teams at CompHealth. And Amy Meyer joined Floyd Lee Locums as manager of medical staff services; she most recently spent a decade as a senior credentialing coordinator at Paramount Health Options.

The Davis Companies, a staffing and recruitment firm headquartered in Marlborough, Mass., announced Eric-John Davis rejoined the firm after a 17-year hiatus. Davis, no relation to the family, is now VP of strategic partnerships, focused on growing the companies managed services programs. He started his career at Davis as a recruiter and was promoted to a regional manager role before joining other global staffing firms.

PrideStaff, a national staffing franchise, announced Michael and Therese Troyer purchased the Houston Northwest office. Erica and Randy Walker purchased the Atlanta South office, located in Fayetteville, Ga. Both transactions closed on Dec. 17. Dave and Jane Grewcock on Dec. 10 opened the Morristown-Parsippany office in East Hanover, NJ.
